Description:
Senior level position for a high energy person who oversees and manages the overall day-to-day operations of a Merlin Shop. The ideal candidate must be focused on customer satisfaction and shop profitability, be able to execute the Merlin sales process, and enforce other policies and procedures while maintaining a professional image.
Duties:
Provides day-to day leadership and motivation of the shop team with a commitment to customer satisfaction. Enforces and executes Merlin’s sales process and procedures to maintain a professional image and profitable operation. Duties and responsibilities include inventory/cash control, facility image and upkeep and recruitment and growth of employees through online and offsite training. Other duties and responsibilities of this position also include cash management and daily record keeping, managing shop maintenance schedules, and achieving sales and traffic goals.
Description:
Sales and management position for a high energy person. Employee must be sales motivated, focused on executing the Merlin sales process, customer service oriented, and possess superior communication skills. A willingness to enhance skills by participation in classroom and online training is required.
Duties:
The primary responsibilities of a service manager are managing shop production, bay workflow, quality control, customer satisfaction, and shop image are the primary responsibilities of a Service Manager. Works as the primary point of contact with customers and is the liaison to the shop team. Responsible for generating customer estimates, selling repairs and maintenance, preparing the necessary paperwork, and completing customer communication for vehicle delivery. In the shop, this team member also drives bay management and assignment of jobs, insures proper completion of vehicle inspections by technicians, locates and stages repair parts, and double checks finished vehicles. Other duties and responsibilities of this position also include cash management, daily record keeping, managing shop maintenance schedules, and achieving sales/traffic goals for several service areas.
Description:
Senior level position for a high energy person who has 5+ years of experience working in an automotive repair environment and is A.S.E. Certified in Brakes, Steering, and Suspension.
Duties:
Works as a lead technician in a team environment to ensure smooth shop operation inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles. Is able to train and coach technicians and use/operate specialized brake, alignment, and exhaust equipment. The duties and responsibilities of this position also include equipment maintenance, inventory management, and housekeeping.
Description:
Mid-level position for a high energy person who has 1 – 5 years of experience working in an automotive repair environment, shows proficiency in at least one undercar specialty, and has ambition to increase their technical and management skills.
Duties:
Works in a team environment to ensure smooth shop operation but primarily works independently inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing customer vehicles. The duties and responsibilities of this position also include ongoing training to increase skill level, equipment maintenance, inventory management, and housekeeping.
Description:
Entry level position for a high energy person who has little or no experience in the automotive industry but possesses motivation to learn all aspects of a Merlin Complete Auto Care operation.
Duties:
Works closely with other shop technicians and managers in any capacity required to ensure smooth shop operation.The primary responsibilities of this position include a wide spectrum from errands and housekeeping to learning the proper use of shop equipment and perform basic vehicle and equipment maintenance.
